Research area

I am an ETH AI Center Doctoral Fellow. My research interests are on the foundation of generative processes and representation learning and how these tools can be used in biomedical applications. I am part of the Medical Data Science group (ETHZ) led by Prof. Julia Vogt and the Empirical Inference groupcall_made (Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems) led by Prof. Bernhard Schölkopf.

I received my BSc. and MSc. in Life Sciences Engineering and Computational Neurosciences from EPFL. Prior to joining ETH as a Doctoral Fellow, I conducted my Master's Thesis on generative processes for medical images at MIT at the Senseable Intelligence Group. As of September 2021, I started my Ph.D. in Prof. Julia Vogt's group, co-advised by Prof. Bernhard Schölkopf.
