Research area

I am an ETH AI Center Doctoral Fellow. My research interest is on the combination of Reinforcement learning & Controls. I am particularly interested in the fundamental ideas from game theory, control theory and utilising them for optimization in multi-agent sequential decision-making problems for safe execution in the real world. I’m part of the Intelligent Control Systems (ICS) group led by Prof. Melanie Zeilinger and the Learning & Adaptive Systems (LAS) group led by Prof. Andreas Krause.

Manish Prajapat is a Doctoral Fellow at the ETH AI Center. He completed his B. Tech (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras and MSc in Robotics, Systems and Controls from ETH Zurich. He was a visiting scholar at Caltech where he worked on competitive policy optimization. Later, he worked as a Robotics research engineer at an ETH spin-off Fixposition AG, where he was developing sensor fusion algorithms fusing cameras, GPS and inertial sensors to be deployed in the real world applications.
