Dandelion Award

The Dandelion Award was initiated in 2021 by ETH AI Center and ETH Entrepreneur Club. It honors Professors that provide outstanding mentorship to students interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial career path.

In Switzerland's start-up and innovation ecosystem, professors have an important but frequently neglected role. They not only generate groundbreaking ideas through their research laboratories, but also provide guidance to the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. We are confident professors are influential in creating career opportunities and motivating students, PhDs, and Post-docs to pursue ambitious research ideas and turn them into practical applications.
