We are dedicated a truly interdisciplinary AI research approach where AI foundations and applications can co-evolve together. We believe this will enable us to achieve new breakthroughs and a positive impact on society.
Our Approach
In each of the ten areas we bright together researchers studying AI foundations, applications, and implications. Interdisciplinary AI research happens not only with the mutual feedback loop between AI applications and foundations but also with interdisciplinary collaborations in the AI foundations itself. Each area comprises around 10 to 30 research groups which are represented by the respective ETH AI Center faculty member.
