Courses

Next to a large pool of AI courses at ETH Zurich, a number of advanced courses are lectured by ETH AI Center Staff:

• AI Center Projects in Machine Learning Research (MS/PhD): student team projects exploring current machine learning research topics, working directly with ETH AI Center's Postdoctoral Fellows.

• Large-Scale AI Engineering (MS/PhD/PostDoc) *new*: develop and optimize large-scale AI models hands-on on the world’s most powerful public supercomputer (Alps).

• Machine Perception (MS): deep dive into deep learning algorithms and architectures with applications to a variety of perceptual and generative tasks.

• Data Science Lab (MS Data Science): student teams solve real-world data science challenges provided by domain experts from academia, industry, and startups.

• Technology Entrepreneurship (MS/PhD/PostDoc): Understand, develop, and pitch technology and AI-driven business ventures from ideation to execution, in 1 week. Co-organized by ETH Zurich and HSG.

• Patenting Digital Innovations (MS/PhD/PostDoc): patenting of AI & software-based innovations with a focus on paper to patent & strategies for science-based start-ups.

• Technology Investing (MS/PhD/PostDoc): venture capital concepts for the next generation of mission-driven tech entrepreneurs & investors. Co-organized by ETH Zurich and HSG.
