The (post) Truth Museum

Together with media artist Nora Al-Badri ETH master student Irem Kaftan and researchers Alberto Pennino and Dr. Sergey Prokudin are generating deepfake videos of representative figures of museums presenting a positive and constructive message on the future of the museum. The message is collectively written by various outstanding activists and thinkers. The idea of the media artworks is to equally respond to ethical questions of identity theft on the level of technology (AI) as well as on the level of museum collections consisting of artifacts from other cultures.

The final work will be shown as a permanent installation in a large museum in Germany over the course of several years, as well as at European art biennials.
