Talk series: AI4S
Environmental sustainability is a defining problem of our time. Its urgency and the increasing availability of data make it a perfect application for modern AI methods. Crucially, this requires a highly interdisciplinary background to identify the relevant problems and match them to compelling solutions. AI4S is a series of talks to bring together experts from AI and environmental sciences to foster collaboration and dialogue. Topics span the broad spectrum of sustainability (e.g. food production, ecology, climate science, sustainable energy production) and a range of computational tools in these areas (e.g. remote sensing, bioinformatics) with an emphasis on connections to AI.
